HISTORY; Robert T. Duncan lived with his sister, Margaret, on his father's farm. The farm was located the second farm south of Barker's Chapel, the first house on the east side of the road. R. T. Duncan, son of George J. Duncan, was born in Holmes County, Ohio, in 1848. He came with his parents to DeKalb County and remained with them till their death. Since his father's death in 1870, he has lived on the old homestead, a sister, Margaret Duncan also making her home with him. He has been married twice. His first wife Florence Wilson, came to DeKalb County from Ohio with her mother, Mrs. Mary Jane Wilson, her father having died in Ohio. Mrs. Duncan died January 4, 1878 leaving one son, Andrew W.
