Margaret was daughter of William Bogle, Postmaster in Glasgow (d. 1806), and Martha Marshall (A. Duncan, gencircles).
- Margaret Bogle (b. 1 sep1788) was daughter of William Bogle (26 sep 1762 - 24 nov 1806), postmaster, and Martha Marshall (15 jan 1766 - 1848) (R. Kelly, worldconnect).
