Lydia Williams was presumably born in Westfield or Elizabeth New Jersey. Lydia and Amos Ross married on 16 Se 1810 at the First Presbyterian Church in Westfield, NJ. Around this time the couple accompanied Amos's father Ezekiel Ross and family members to Butler County, OH where they lived for many years before moving to Jerseyville, Il. Lydia and Amos are buried at Oak Grove Cemetery in Jerseyville. Her tombstone says she died at 79 yr and 1 month.
