OBITUARY LOUIS RANK JUNE 21, 1872 - DEC. 5, 1950

Louis Rank, 78, died at 8 p.m. Tuesday at his home in Luxemburg, after an illness of seven weeks. He had been staying with his son, Michael Rank. Mr Rank was born in Austria and came to this country at the age of eight and married Catherine Seidl, in 1907. She preceded him in death in 1936. Mr Rank was a lifelong native of this area. He had been a member of the Holy Name Society of the St Mary's Catholic Church and a member of the Catholic Knights of Wisconsin and the St Joseph Society of St Mary's Church. Surviving are his four sons, Raymond, Kewaunee; Felix, New Franken; Michael, Luxemburg; and Fabian, Mill Center, two sisters, Mrs Mary Kollross, Luxemburg; Mrs John Arnedt, Marinette, two brothers, Englebert, Green Bay; Fabian, Green Bay; and 12 grandchildren. The body will be laid out tonight at the McMahon Funeral Home at 7 p.m. The rosary will be recited on Wednesday and Thursday evening at 8 p.m. Funeral services will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Friday at St Mary's Church with the Rev. John Huhn officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
