Mrs Louis Rank, 61, a highly respected resident of Luxemburg all her life, died Thursday p.m. of last week, at St Vincent's Hospital, Green Bay, Wisconsin. Mrs Rank had been ailing with diabetes for the past six months she was suddenly taken ill with appendicitis. Her death came as a shock to her many friends and relatives. Born in Luxemburg, to the late Jacob and Anna (Kollross) Seidl. She married Louis Rank at St Mary's Church on June 25, 1907. To this happy union came five children, one son, age 12, having passed away nine years ago. Survived are her husband, four sons, Raymond, Felix, Michael, and Fabian. Four brothers, Joseph Seidl, Charles Seidl and George Seidl, all of Luxemburg. Henry Seidl of Enterprise. One sister, Miss Mary Seidl, of Hilbert. Funeral services were held Monday at 9:30 a.m. at St Mary's Church, with a solemn requiem high mass read by the pastor Rev. John Huhn, assisted by Rev. F. Swatek of Norman. Burial was in the parish cemetery. The pallbearers were, Leo Seidl, Ralph Rank, Clarence Arndt, George Seidl, Fritz Seidl, and Henry Kollross. Mrs Rank was a member of the alter society which organization attended the funeral in a body. The large number of relatives and the number of floral and spiritual offerings, are but a token of high esteem in which she was held.
