2003 - Newspaper Clipping, Obituary: Lois E. Shaw, aged 60, of Lake Road, Youngstown, New York, Thursday January 23, 2003 at her residence after a short illness. Mrs Shaw was born July 7, 1942 in Lewiston, New York, the daughter of the late Wilber and Edith M (Carter) Buttery. She was a lifelong resident of Youngstown and a 1960 graduate of Lewiston Porter High School. Mrs Shaw was a cook, employed by the Niagara County Community College for 13 years. Previous to that she was employed by the Lewiston Porter High School Food Service for 10 years and by Buttery's Tavern in Youngstown. She was married to Keith Shaw om March 30, 1963. Mrs Shaw was a member of St John Lutheran Church in Youngstown and the Aid Association for Lutherans. She was a 38 year member of the Youngstown Volunteer Fire co Ladies Auxilliary and has held the office of President for the past 30 years. Mrs Shaw enjoyed dressing up as a clown for her many family functions, enjoyed taking car of her family and cooking, and enjoyed watching NASCAR races and camping. In addition to her husband, she is survived by her three daughters, Marcy (William) Norbut and Stephanie (Kevin) Wills, both of Ransomville, and Wendy Shaw (Eric) of Youngstown; one sister, Shirley (Kenneth) Chamberlain of Ransomville; two brothers, Morris "Mike" (Anna) Buttery and Gerald (Joanne) Buttery both of Ransomville; and her grandchildren, Kimberly, Lee, and Allan Wills, Amanda and Kristine Ripson, Kendra and Eric Wieland. She was predeceased by a sister, Martha (Frank-deceased) Willms, and a brother, Paul Buttery.... Funeral services will be held Monday January 27 in the St John Lutheran Church, 420 Lockport Street, Youngstown with the Rev Richard Blemaster officiating. Burial will be in the Oakland Rural Cemetery, Lake Road, Youngstown.
