"HIS NAME WAS LEON FRIEDMAN., BORN 1839 OR 1840 IN AUSTRIA (POLAND TODAY). WITH HANNAH, HIS FIRST WIFE HE HAD 7 CHILDREN : FANNY, ANTONETTE, ROSE, MINNIE, RACHEL, SAMUEL AND HENRY. AFTER HANNAH DIED , HE MARRIED WIFE #2, FANNY,BORN 1862, AND THEY HAD 5 CHILDREN: ISABELLE,BORN 1888,ISADORE, HERBERT, BENJAMIN, AND LARRY. WITH THEIR 1ST CHILD AND HENRY, FROM MARRIAGE #1 THEY IMMIGRATED TO BROOKLYN IN 1889. LEON DIED IN 1906, IN BROOKLYN. HE AND FANNY ARE BURIED IN WASHINGTON CEMETERY IN BROOKLYN. I HAVE VISITED THEIR GRAVES. " From George Bodner's (Leon's great grandson) email to Frances Mizrany dated 8/25/2009 Washington Cemetery confirmed Leon's burial site as: Cemetery 1, Post 125, Row 13, Grave 20. He was 64 years old and the grave is not in perpetual care. Copy of information is not possible as it is a very large book and not able to copy. In an interview with Morton Mihlstin, he said that Leon had a total of 16 children. Gmina Przemysl, Subcarpathia, Poland was part of Austria when Leon and Fanny lived there. References
