Facts and Events
Name Lavina Belle Caplinger
Gender Female
Birth[1][2] Oct 1849 VA (now West Virginia)
Marriage to John Bartlett Jackson
Death[1][3] 1 May 1931 Ohio
Burial[1] Kanawha United Methodist Church Cemetery, Kanawha, Wood Co., West Virginia

The birth record of her daughter Ruth gives the parent's residence at that time was 'near Murphytown'.

Obituary copied from Lavina's Find-a-Grave memorial page: "Final rites for Mrs. Lavinia Jackson, 81, widow of J.B. Jackson, were held in the M.E. Chapel at Kanawha Station, Sunday afternoon and burial was made in the Bailey cemetery. Rev. C.H. Kelley, of Epworth M.E. church, South, officiated. Mrs. Jackson died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. J.C. Mendenhall, in Ohio avenue Friday evening. The Parkersburg News, Tuesday, 5 May 1931, pg. 3."

I note that her obituary stated she was buried in the Bailey cemetery. Find-a-Grave shows a photo of her gravemarker in Kanawha United Methodist Church Cemetery. I assume the 'Bailey cemetery' is the older, more local name for the same cemetery.
