    Kesiah Stephens was born about 1765 in Christiansburg, Montgomery County, Virginia. She is believed to be the daughter of Peter Stephens and Mary Chrisman. She married Edward McDonald 9 Sep 1786 in Montgomery County, Virginia. In 1802 the family moved to the Clear Fork area of Wyoming County. She had several children including Joseph McDonald who married Nancy Chapman, Stephen McDonald who married Susannah Black, William McDonald who married Mariah/Mary (surname Black or McDonald), Rhoda McDonald who married Charles Black, Elizabath McDonald who married Alexander Black. She is listed in the 1850 census living with her son, William McDonald in Wyoming County. Death date unknown, but probably soon after that.
