Kenneth Wardwell Woodstock Funeral services for Kenneth N. Wardwell, 60, who died suddenly Tuesday at Alice Peck Day Hospital in Lebanon, N.H. will be held at Cabot Funeral Home in Woodstock Saturday at 2 p.m. The Rev. Doris K. Rikert, pastor of North Pomfret Congregational Church will officiate. Burial will be in the Prosper Cemetery in Woodstock at a later date. Mr. Wardwell was born Feb. 7, 1912 in Pittsfield, son of Sumner and Maude (Severance) Wardwell. He attended Woodstock schools and was employed by the state Highway Department for more than twenty years. He was a member of Woodstock Lodge No. 31, F&AM. He is survived by his widow, Lillie (Raymond) Wardwell; four sisters, Mrs. Bessie Berg of Ira, Mrs. Marian Peoples of Wilmington, Mass, Mrs. Jessie Johnson and Mrs. June Whitcomb, both of Woodstock, and a brother, Ernest Wardwell of Woodstock, and nieces and nephews. There will be no calling hours.
