Family Traditions

Kenneth Church was known for hauling cattle to the stockyards in Chicago as well as those in Michigan. It was mentioned by some close friends that on the day of his funeral, the stockyards he usually visited held a "minute of silence" to honor him.

During family gatherings, his wife and children would recall times when he was visiting neighbors, relatives or friends and was offered an animal he would take it home in his car.
