    Mrs. Larson
    Kathrina Larson was born in Sodermanland, Sweden February 8, 1829 and died at the home of her son L. E. Lundquist, October 3, 1916 at the age of 87 years, 7 months and 25 days. On October 24, 1853 she was united in marriage to Andres Larson, who passed away in Oct. 1861. To this union were born 5 children of which two survive her, namely L. E. Lundquist of this place and Andres Albert Anderson whose home is in Sweden. Mrs. Larson was married the second time on November 30, 1863 to Carl Larson. This union was made blessed with four children, of whom only Mrs. Albertina Carlson of this community survives her.
    Mrs. Larson with her husband came to American in May 1886. They came directly to Brantford and have since that time made their home with Mr. and Mrs. Lundquist.
    During the summer of 1886, Mrs. Larson was converted and in the next year, 1887, she became a member of the Mission Church. She remained, until her death a true Christian and was looked upon by all who came in contact with her with respect.
    Her husband Carl Larson passed away August, 1913. This loss she took with the composure which was made possible by her unwavering faith in God. After an illness of a few weeks, she passed away to her heavenly home, leaving behind the sorrow and joy of this world. She leaves to mourn her loss L. E. Lundquist and wife, Mrs. Albertina Carlson and one son, one brother and sister in Sweden, thirteen grand children and eight great grand children besides a large number of friends.
    The funeral services were held at the Mission Church conducted by the Rev. O. E. Almstrom. Interment was made at Mission Cemetery.

    Katrina Larson was born in Sodermanland, Sweden, February 8, 1829 and died at the home of her son, L. E. Lundquist, October 3, 1916 at 3:30 a.m. She had attained the age of 87 years, 7 months and 25 days.

Lundquist of this place, and Mr. Anders Albert Anderson, whose home is in Sweden. Mrs. Larson was married the second time on November 30, 1863 to Carl Larson.
