- Obituary COLEMAN.- Katherine, wife of T.M. Coleman, aged 54 years, 4 months and 14 days.She was the daughter of Christian and Elizabeth Miller, was born in Cambria county, Pa., June 16, 1832, with her parents removed to Wayne county, Ohio, thence to Parke county, Indiana, and was married to T.M. Coleman October 30, 1851, exactly 35 years previous to her death. With her husband landed in Guthrie county, Iowa November 5, 1852. She was a faithful, devoted wife, kind and loving mother, true friend and earnest Christian, all combined in her to give her love to all who knew her best. Converted spring of 1852 under the labors of Thomas Hickernell and George Sandoe, in Indiana, in her father's house.The funeral was preached at the Beaver bethel on sunday, October 30, 1886. The number of teams in the procession was seventy, the number of people about five- hundred. She leaves a full assurance that she is safe with the Lord.Services by the writer, from 1 Cor.xv. 57. L.F.
