Joseph McCutcheon acted as a witness in the will of his father, Robert McCutcheon:
- Page 90.--23d August, 1800. Robert McCutchen's will--To daughter, Mary; to son, James; son, Robert; son, Jones, land on Little River; daughter, Hanna Henderson; daughter, Margaret Moore (son John?); other children. Executors, son John, James Berry, Joseph Henderson. Teste: Jesse Davis, Joseph McCutchen, Mary and Jno. McCutchen. Proved, 26th January, 1801, by Davis and Joseph McCutchen. James Berry refuses to execute. Jno. McCutchen and Joseph Henderson qualify.
