Obituary

John Hall Dies (unidentified newspaper clipping, dated 1966) John Hall, 87, died at his home in Kingston Saturday morning, Feb. 19, following a few weeks illness. He was a retired farmer. His wife, Mrs. Florence Stone Hall, died in 1962. Five daughters survive Mr. Hall, Mrs. Vern Sloan of Cameron, Mrs. Harold Esteb of Kingston, Mrs. Glen Wachter of Nebraska City, Nebr., Mrs. E. C. Williams of Barstow, Calif., and Mrs. Eddie Combs of Nettleton; nine grandchildren, six great grandchildren and one brother, Y. B. Hall of Galax, Va. The funeral was Monday at 3 at the Bram Funeral Home conducted by Rev. Richard Harrison. Burial was in Pleasant Ridge cemetery southeast of Hamilton. Pallbearers were Marion and Maurice Houghton, Russell Rains, Virgil Cox, G. A. Ely and Leon D. Richardson. Mrs. Jack Hosman sang “The Old Rugged Cross” and “Beyond the Sunset” accompanied at the organ by Mrs. Paul Assel. The latter also played selections.
