He came to Missouri, February 1, 1901 and was married to Miss Ozetta Hughes, April 22, 1903, who with seven children is left to mourn his loss, one child having died in infancy.

[Ron Stephenson Note: Even though the obituary says he was 45 in 1919, which would have made him born in 1874, I am convinced he was actually born in 1867 in that I believe he is listed on the 1870 Census for White Pigeon Township, St. Joseph County, Michigan Page 18 with his grandmother Abigail Glover and three of her four children. The only child of hers that is not listed is Lewis Glover, his father. Why he would have indicated he was born in 1874 rather than 1867 is a mystery but one reason may have been that even with a birth date of 1874 he was still twelve years older than his wife and he simply may not have wanted even her to know that he was actually 19 years older than her.]
