Facts and Events
Conflicting information in the Rhoton letter states that John T. was born in Taylor County, KY. If this was the correct John T. Gaddie (there were two that I know of
during this period), then he was a private in the 37th Kentucky Infantry, Company "F". The 1880 US Census lists his occupation as "Farmer".
