"John J. Flechsenhar      Funeral services for John J. Flechsenhar, 90, will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday at the Moore Funeral Home in Sycamore, the Rev. Alex E. Dandar officiating.  Burial will be in St. John's Baseline Cemetery.  Friends may call at the funeral home.

     Mr. Flechsenhar, who lived on route 2, Bloomville, died at 2:50 a.m. Tuesday, Oct. 19, 1971 in Wyandot Manor Nursing Home in Upper Sandusky.  He had been in failing health for three years.

     The son of Frederick and Anna (Hunker) Flechsenhar, he was born Aug. 23, 1881, in Seneca County.  He married Mabel E. Montz Nov. 25, 1908, and she died April 10, 1965.     

   Surviving are two sisters, Mrs. Mary Rapp of near Sycamore and Mrs. Leila Swartz of near Nevada.  He was preceded in death by one son, two brothers and three sisters.

     Mr. Flechsenhar, a retired farmer and lifelong resident of the community, was a member of St. John's United Church of Christ near Bloomville."
