"MENINGITIS FATAL TO BLOOM YOUTH, 16      John Russell Flechsenhar, 16-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. John Flechsenhar, died at 9 a. m. Sunday in the family home on the Baseline road south of Bloomville.  His death followed an illness of three weeks with meningitis.

     John is survived by his parents and by his grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. John Montz.  He was a member of St. John's Reformed church located on the Baseline road, and of the Christian Endeavor society.

     Funeral services are to be held at 2 p. m. Wednesday in the residence and at 2:30 p. m. in the church and will be conducted by the Rev. Harold Weber.  Interment will be in the adjacent cemetery."
