From FHL film 991801 item 3, entry for 19 Feb 1707 (old-style calendar): "John son of John Chatt of Myar House, Wst: Robert Forster of Hesleywell, Wm Todd of Dotland, & Elizh Chatt." The witness Elizabeth Chatt may be the wife of Thomas Chatt in Dotland. It is interesting to note that only some entries identify the father as "of someplace", while others just give a profession.
From FHL film 991801 item 3, entry for 9 April 1708: "John son of John Chatt do Myar House", where the "do" (ditto) refers to occupation, same as entry above, which was "curryr" (a tanner of leather hides), and "Myar House" (also "Mire House") being a farm just south of the Whitley Chapel.
