Personal History

Jesse (or Jessaniah[4]) Foster, fourth son of Amos Foster and Hannah (Merrill), was born 8 February 1764, in Tewksbury, Province of Massachusetts Bay.[1][2] He died 12 September 1813, in the same town, in Massachusetts, of dropsy.[3]

Jesse inherited an equal share (one eleventh) of his father's estate in 1799.
