Christening records for the Reformed Church of Wynantskill, NY show Jeremiah being baptized on 13 Dec 1795. Most trees show that he first married Mahala Stolicker and they had 4 children: Hiram L., Alonzo, Isaac and Nicholas. David Ellis says there is no proof that Alonzo and Isaac are his children and that there is definite proof that Nicholas is not. He also says there is a daughter, Sabrina that should be accounted for. Mahala died 8 Sep 1832 and Jeremiah married our ancestor Mary Lent in 1833. David Ellis shows that they had four children Edward, George J., Edwin and Marvin Alexander, all born in Quebec. The children in this compilation are based on David Ellis' work.
