She was buried (St-Ours Register) on 5 Jan 1767, age 85 years, a widow [sic, husband buried there in 1770]. !CENSUS: 1686, Port Royal, Acadia, age 3 years. !CENSUS: 1693, Les Mines, Acadia. [Where is she in the household of her parents Jean HEBERT, age 40 & Anne DOUCET, age 32? She would have been around age 10.] The oldest daughter is Genevieve, age 7 [sic]. !BIRTH-MARRIAGE: Arsenault, Histoire et Genealogie, p. 1183 (Grand Pr�). !NAME: Given as Marguerite HEBERT in deposition of 1767. (See Acads. of B-I-en-M, in New Orleans Genesis.) BIRTH: Janet Jehn, ACADIAN DESCENDANTS; 1600-1800; Covington, KY, Author, 1972; vol. 1, p. 15. Genevieve HEBERT, born 1687, daughter of Jean & Anne DOUCET. [But not listd in Arsenault, H&G, p. 1183 with rest of family. Mistake?] !CENSUS: 1693 Mines, Acadia. Genevieve, age 7, is listed in father's family. There is also another daughter named Anne, age 5, and five sons. |
