Francois LE BLANC, son of Rene' & Anne BOURGEOIS, born (Belle-Ile Declaration) at Port-Royal around 1680 (on 1686 census of Port-Royal was age four years; on 1693 at Les Mines, age 13 years. On 1757 census at Braintree, MA was 75 years; also on 1763 census of MA). He married around 1703 to Jeanne HE'BERT, daughter of Jean & Marie-Anne DOUCET. He was buried (St-Ours Register) on 5 Mar 1770 at age 95 years (sic). !CENSUS: 1686, Port Royal, Acadia, age 4 years. !CENSUS: 1693, Les Mines, age 13 years. !CENSUS: 1707, Mines [Grand Pre], Acadia, gives only name, with his wife, and 2 boys less than 14. They have 8 arpents, 18 cattle, 13 sheep, and 1 hog. !EDUCATION: He could sign his name, as on his daguther Marie's marriage record at Grand Pré in 1727 (SGA-2, 234). !BIRTH-MARRIAGE-CHILDREN-RESIDENCES: Bona Arsenault, HISTOIRE ET GENEALOGIE, p. 1219 (Grand Pré), married around 1703, first child born 1704. He lived at Saint-Charles-des-Mines, was deported to Massachusetts, with his wife and other members of his family. !BIRTH-MARRIAGE-SON: Jerome Lepre, "The Acadians of Belle-Isle-en-Mer," in NEW ORLEANS GENESIS; 1650-1767; vol.
