On verso of Folio 18: Nicolle COLLORON [sic], widow of GODET, living as head of household with Jean GODET [her widowed son] and one boy and one girl [his children]. They have 3 arpents of land, with 8 head of cattle. !CENSUS: 1686, Port Royal, Acadia (p. 16), age 45 years [sic], living with his 80-year-old mother, who is listed as head of household, and his second? wife Jeanne HENRY, 30, their 2 children, and 3 children of his former marriage. They have 1 gun, 4 arpents worked land, 4 cattle, 4 sheep and 3 pigs. He is listed (p.17) a 2nd time as age 33 years [born 1653]. His wife is only listed by first name Jeanne, and the 2 children of the first marriage [Enfans du prem'r Lict.] are given exactly the same as on p. 16 before, and the 2 girls of the second marriage are named [not 3 unnamed as on first entry]. Has one died? Now they have 2 guns, still 4 arpents worked land 10 cattle, 17 sheep and 4 pigs. His mother is no longer listed. Dead? [Why the discrepancy, both in age, number of children, and details missing? Was the second entry a correction, and to indicate deaths? If so, what is his true age?] !CENSUS: 1693, Les Mines, Acadia, age 47 [sic], a widower, living with 3 daughters and a son. They have 15 cattle, 10 sheep, 10 hogs, on 6 arpents, with 1 gun. !CENSUS: 1698, Port Royal, Acadia. He has remarried to Jeanne LE JEUNE, age 47. No children are listed, but they have 3 cows, 4 sheep, 3 hogs, 1 1/2 arpents, and 1 gun.
