Disputed Lineages

John’s wife is “Jane” from the Braintree vital records. Reed is the most common surname for John’s wife, though no proof seems to have been offered. (Source:Anderson, Robert Charles. Great Migration: Immigrants to New England, 1634-1635, vol. V (M-P), p. 260). Note that the birth information for Jane is likewise based on unproven "tradition".
