James Franklin Oller

James Franklin Oller, who went by Frank according to his granddaughter, Mildred Heater Grace [MN-035], is the son of Catherine Smith and Leonard Oller. Frank was enumerated as Franklin, in the 1850 Federal Census of Alexander County, Illinois, and as Francis, in the 1860 Federal Census of Alexander County, Illinois. His name is given as Franklin Oller on his second wife's death certificate.

Frank’s father, Leonard, is thought to have died in 1854.
