IN Spelled Isaac in Scott Family History, by Walter Scott in Frankfort Library, Frankfort IN Isaac Scott was evidently born during the transition period when Owen Scott was migrating from Pennsylvania to Indiana. In 1835 with his two brothers Frederick and Daniel, he settled in Clinton Co. IN, on a farm one and one half miles South of Scircleville the Trees Farm in 1940 . During his lifetime he acquired about eight hundred acres of land in Johnson, Kirklin, and Sugar Creek Twps. In his later life he moved to Scircleville 1877 , living first in the Scott property that burned then in the property now owned by Wm H Scott, then in the property just West of Alice Scott s property and finally spending his remaining years with his daughter Alice Scott.
