  3. "The Baptism of Isaac2 Nichols of Stratford, Connecticut, in The American Genealogist (TAG). (Donald Lines Jacobus, et.al.)
    76:38, Jan 2001.

"In the October 2000 issue, TAG published my article identifying the long-sought English origin of Sergeant Francis1 Nichols of Stratford, Connecticut. In addition to the material published there, the Sedgeborrow. co. Worcester, parish register also includes the baptism of Isaac Nichols, son of Francis, on 27 December 1617. I had included 'say 1620' for Isaac's birth based upon the birthdate of his first known child, Mary (b. 2 February 1647/8) and the dates for Francis1's other children. Isaac2 Nichols has many descendants. This baptismal entry makes the identification of Francis1 Nichols's origin even more certain."
