- Pp. 94-96: William Byers, Sr. of York Co., to Hugh Allison, Jr. of same, Sept. 27, 1786,99 acres on head branches of Bullocks Creek, bounded NE and SE by land granted to William Byers, NW by land lately the property of William Laughlin, deceased, and NE by land formerly claimed by David Adams. Witnesses: Alexander Allison, Edward Morehead, J. Barnett. Signed William Byers. [Note: the term "Jr." was used often to differentiate between two persons with the same name but of different ages, not necessarily indicating a father-son relationship. In this case, the elder Hugh Allison appears to be likely an uncle of this Hugh Allison. Needs further research]
