About twenty relatives of the Knapp family enjoyed a family reunion at Peter Crofton's home on Johnson street, yesterday. The celebration was in honor of Mrs. Winnie McCarthy (nee Knapp) of Port Smith, Ark. Those present were: Mrs. McCarthy and son John of Ft. Smith, Mr. and Mrs. Francis Douglas, of St. Louis, Mr. and Mrs. Cosmos Keller and daughters, Frederica and Marguerite, of Jerseyville, Mrs. Margaret Knapp, Mr. and Mrs. James Crofton and daughter Lucille, Mrs. Cora Knapp and daughters Beryl and Pauline and son Paul, Ross Knapp and Mr. and Mrs. Crofton. After a very pleasant day they all returned to their respective homes. Mrs. McCarthy accompanied the Keller family to their home In Jerseyville for a few days visit, before returning to her home in Ft. Smith. Henry Knapp of Dana, lndiana, Mrs. Peter Crofton and Mrs. James Crofton of Alton and Mr. and Mrs. Robert Douglas of Dow, who have been guests of Mrs. Cosmos Keller, returned to their homes Wednesday. They were here to attend the sale of the Knapp farm of 200 acres near Dow which 'was bought by Thomas Jenkins of the south side.

Obit of his sister Mrs. Jeanette Knapp Douglas, in 1940 says that he lives in Indiana.
