link John Williams, Trader of Pomfret 1735 with wife Hannah in land records 4:248 is his reference to Father Sawyer no doubt referring to Hannah's father. Benjamin Saywer's probate on 18 Mar 1763 includes Hannah wife of John Jeffords. The author notes the marriage of Hannah "Williams" to John Jeffords on 6 Sep 1757. She died Brookyn, CT 21 Feb 1805 in her 80th yr meaning she was born c 1725 and was old enough to have been the 2nd wife of John Williams before she married John Jeffords. The will of John Williams, trader Vol 1 155-161; 354-356 dated 16 Mar 1756 names wife Hannah and also land lately purchased of Mr. Benjamin Sawyer... and land I lately purchased of Joseph Sawyer.
