    Himmie resided in Petrolia, Butler Co, PA for 23 years prior to his death. He was a coal miner for 20 years and a union organizer for the United Mine Workers of America for 7 years. He retired from the Witco Chemical Co. after 12 years of employment.
    He was a member of the UMW and the Petrolia Volunteer Fire Dept.
    Died at Armstrong Memorial Hospital, Kittanning, PA
