Gertrude Pfeiffer Jordan, 72, of 816 East LaRua St., died Thursday morning at a hospital. Mrs. Jordan was a native and lifelong resident of Pensacola. She wa a member of the Cathedral of Sacred Heart Catholic Church. Survivors include her husband, Avery E. Jordan of Pensacola; and two brothers, Dudley Pfeiffer and Edgar Pfeiffer, both of Pensacola. The rosary will be recited 7pm Friday from the chapel of Walters & Hibbert. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10am Saturday at the Cathedral of Sacred Hears with the Rev. Father Luke Hunt officiating. Burial will be in St. Michael's Cemetery with Walter's and Hibbert directing. Pallbearers will be Jose Martinez, JB Nelson, Gregory Nelson, Francis Grice and JC Pfeiffer Jr. Friends may call from 6 to 9pm Friday at the funeral home.
