Old Fulton Postcards / Obituaries Fulton NY 1983: GEORGE KING Mr. George B. King, 65, of Phelps, died Monday Nov. 14 at Clifton Springs Hospital after a short illness. He was born in Orwell. He served in World War II with the Army's 21st Coast Artillery Battalion. He lived in Phelps for 33 years. His wife, Margaret Broshard King, died in September 1982. Mr. King was employed by Eastern Rock Construction Co. of Baldwinsville and Winkelman Construction Co. of Syracuse. He was a member of St. Francis Assisi Church. Surviving are a brother, Leon, of Altmar; a sister, Dorothy Kaine of Williamstown; and several nieces and nephews... Services were held at the Dewey Funeral Home, the Rev. Anthony Camilori officiating. Burial will be in Resthaven Cemetery.
