King, age 86, lifetime resident of Ricard, passed away Monday at Oswego Hospital. Leon was born March 14, 1925 in Orwell. He attended Williamstown Schools. Leon married Florence Stevenson on October 17, 1953. He was employed by D.W. Winkleman Construction for many years, and he was also employed by Root Brothers Construction Co. Leon was also a self-employed carpenter. He was a former member of the Ricard Grange and the Williamstown Senior Citizens. Surviving: wife, Florence; four sons, Eugene (Laurie) King of Ricard, Arnold (Brenda) King of Williamstown, Kelvin King of Scotia, and Peter King of Ricard; five grandchildren, Terry, Shawn, Gerald, Jake and Peyton; and nine great-grandchildren. Funeral services will be held noon Thursday at the Foster-Hax Funeral Home, 52 Park Street, Pulaski with burial in Fairview Cemetery, Williamstown References
