E-mail from Mary, wife of Jeffrey Fielding Durgee ([email protected]) 6/19/2005 We understand that George was a "Fielding." who was adopted by the Durgee family. Richard Durgee said that little George lived on the farm next to the Durgee Farm. The Fielding farm and family with the exception of George were killed in the fire. I have to verify that information.
