Funeral services were held at the First Reformed church in Rock Valley July 26 for Mrs. Bert Bliek, 65, of Rock Valley, who died at a Sioux Falls hospital July 24. Burial was made in the Valley View cemetery at Rock Valley.

The former Grace Verdoorn was born November 3, 1903, at Rock Valley. She was married to Bert Bliek February 11, 1926, at Rock Valley.

Survivors include the widower; two sons, Arie of Larchwood and Herbert of Rock Valley; five daughters, Mrs. Wm. Allen of Pocahantas, Mrs. Pete Jacobsma of Doon, Mrs. Vern De Jager of Rock Valley, Mrs. Leonard Vos and Mrs. Ferrell Boyles, both of Hawarden; three sisters, Mrs. Mary De Young of Grand Rapids, Mich., and Mrs. Teunnie Van Woudenberg and Mrs. Arie Gaalswyk, both of Rock Valley and 37 grandchildren.
