1885 Death Certificate (Man, #536858) indicates that Franz died at about 3AM on Aug 3 1885 from Marasmus (sp?) and exhaustion. He was ill from birth and died when 15 days old. The family was residing at 87 Pitt Street, 2nd floor in a four family building.

Interment listing from Calvary Cemetery indicates that he is buried in Sec 6, Range 4, Plot O, Grave 15; his mother was later buried there in 1894.
