- ↑ Frank is buried with two of his wives, Ola and Mary, one on each side ofhim
- ↑ Frank's grandson Harry F Gieseck told me during an interview that afterthe early death of his grandmother, Ola, his step grandmother (MaryMyers Gieseck) raised the children in an Amish sort of religion. She andHarry's aunt, Inez Gieseck, (who Mary had raised since an infant) worethe typical Amish women garb of the dark blue dress, black hose and thewhite cap covering their hair tied into a bun. He does not know whatreligion it was though. It was referred to as a "non-denominational"religion. They did not have a church to attend, but would have theirSunday meeting in a family home. He did say that his grandfather(Franklin Pierce Gieseck) had met Mary Myers at church, so apparentlyFrank was also a member of that same religion.
The beliefs of a religion can effect how a family lives. Harry went onto say his branch of the family was very strict. They did not believe inlistening to the radio, and they were extremely private, no gossip wasever uttered. Thus he was never told what was going on within thefamily. When his Uncle Russell Gieseck was going through a divorce,Grandpa (Franklin P Gieseck) and the three boys (Russell, Harry Ray andWilliam) would all leave their homes to meet someplace to discuss theevents. The rest of the family knew "something" was going on, but werenever told the particulars. Harry also told me that he had asked his grandfather (FranklinPierce Gieseck) many times for some tidbit of information on Ola(Harry's real grandmother) who died at the age of 32, twelve yearsbefore Harry's birth. A photo? What was she like? just anything, butwas never answered. Then as Frank P got older he mellowed, and one daypulled out a box of memorabilia from Ola in a closet to share withHarry, who was now FIFTY years old! Inside the box was a photo, andOla's gloves, handkerchief, and other such item. Harry still todaywonders why he had to be 50 before he could learn about his owngrandmother or see her photo! Harry is always very eager to hear or knowanything about his ancestors, as he was kept in the dark about them formost his life

- ↑ sometime after his marriage to Ola, Frank P. built this Sears and Roebuckhome for her. Harry Franklin Gieseck was delivered, 1934, at this home, although his parents actually lived at the big brick at the time. ThisFrank P farm was used as a dairy operation. Frank P and his son, HarryRay farmed together in a joint operation. In the year 2004, Ola andBonner Linn live in this House. Ola is the daughter of William and WildaGieseck and Grandaughter of Franklin P. Gieseck
