- ↑ from daughter Ruby: "Mildred Sity was a very bold woman. She would comeinto the yard and call to my father while he was still married andliving with my mother. My father left my mother and married Mildred. Mymother had to raise us children with no work. Grandpa Gieseck helpedfinancially. Mother had a very difficult time in life raising thechildren alone. We were raised in poverty. When my father died, he didnot even acknowlege us in his will. He never even waved when he passedus on the street, if Mildred was in the car with him. Mildred gave herchildren the Gieseck surname, but they are children of her previousmarriage."
