Mildred was born on March 26, 1915in Broadway, Ohio to the late Howard and Maude Sampson Appleman. Mildredwas a farmer, homemaker, Licking Heights School bus driver, and a memberof the Summit Station United Methodist Church. Survived by threedaughters, Shirley (Benny) Keyser, Charlene (Robert)Geer, Mary Jane(Popeye) Thompson; step-children, Robert Gieseck, Dorothy Munday andRuby Smith; grandchildren, Millie (Hank) Haddox, Terry Geer, Russell(Carolyn) Geer, Robert (Julie) Geer, Kim (Joe) Polvino, Toni (Roger)Fletcher, Leisa (Vince) DeFilippo, Clint (Mary) Thompson, Linny (Bruce)Lane; seventeen great-grandchildren, and fourteengreat-great-grandchildren; sister-in-law, Clara "Shorty" Appleman; manynieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Preceded in death by her lovinghusband Russell Gieseck, brothers, sisters and one granddaughter.Friends may call at KAUBER-MILLER FUNERAL HOME, Pataskala on Monday,June 7, 2004 from 4 to 8 p.m. Funeral service on Tuesday at the funeralhome at 10:30 a.m. with Pastor David Cady and Pastor Harold Placeofficiating.
