Aunt Gertie Braught Stouffer Redshaw said that Franklin Harry Braught had three wives; #2 had son (killed in CA?), #3 Betty-- had daughter named Betty with daughter Judy living in 1985 at Fresno, CA. Gertie constantly referred to F.H. as Harry (but could have simply been confusing him with Harry Braught, brother of Homer).

Gertie had this daughter Betty's phone number 1984 as (209) 251-1908. Someone should pursue the details of these families. Harry was cremated after heart attack death. One family Bible shows Franklin born 26 Mar 1910. SocSec #484-09-4786 IA also shows birth 26 Mar 1910, so that date is used here. See information regarding the Dust Bowl book with photo of Frank Braught headed West with friends and wife. Barbara Braught Olson said that this Frank rather separated himself from the rest of the family for some reason that she did not recall. She knew that he was divorced and that his daughter, Dottie, was very secretive about her father. Dottie also tends to keep distance from the Braught family despite repeated efforts to welcome her to family contacts (Barbara is the only one that she has seemed comfortable with).
