Mrs. Eunice A. Cookson, 68, of 266 S. Jackson St., died this morning after a brief illness in Mercy Hospital where she was admitted Saturday.
The former Eunice Hill was born in Rockford June 4, 1905, and had lived in Janesville since her marriage to Adrian Cookson Sept. 9, 1925. He died in 1969. She was a member of Faith United Methodist Church, Milton.
Surviving are four sons, Gerald, Richard and Warren "Bob", all of Janesville, and Wayne, Milton; three daughters, Mrs. Winnifred Griffith, Janesville, Mrs. Leonard D'Angelo and Mrs. Aletha Cherrier, both of Milton; 17 grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; four brothers, Guy Hill, Chetek, Warren Hill, Genoa City, Neal Hill, Whitewater, and Gerald Hill, Milton; a sister, Mrs. Emil Fuchs, Milton.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday in Overton Funeral Home, with burial in Milton Lawns Memorial Park. Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 8:30 p.m. Tuesday.
