Guy S. Hill, 96, of Chetek, died Sunday, June 21, 1998, at Lakeview Medical Center, Rice Lake.
He was born July 7, 1901, in Butternut, to Charles and Maud (Scofield) Hill. He married Beatrice Barnstable in September 1920. She died in July 1977. He then married Camella Manchester in October 1978. She died in January 1992. He was an automobile mechanic and operated his own business in Chetek until he retired in 1961. He had been a resident of Chetek since 1917, having previously lived in Milton Junction and Antioch, Ill.
Survivors include one son, Harry (Ardis) Hill of New Berlin; two daughters, Helen (Malvin) Robinson of Silver Bay, Minn., and Hazel (Kennard) Sandmire of Lodi; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; one sister, Maud Fuchs of Milton; and many nieces and nephews.
