  Hightstown, Sept. 22. - Jon Homer, while riding on a bicycle Friday collided with a carriage driven by Mrs. Elwood Eldridge, and his wheel was demolished. Mrs. Eldridge warned him but he was looking in another direction. He was somewhat bruised.

  HIGHTSTOWN, April 15. - Mrs. Emma E. Eldridge, widow of Elwood Eldridge, died at her home, 326 Stockton Street, early yesterday morning following a long illness. Funeral services are to be conducted from her residence Saturday afternoon at 2:30, with the Rev. Walter Nickless, pastor of the Hightstown Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be made in the Ceda Hill Cemetery here, under the direction of William S. Heyer.
  Mrs. Eldridge, who was 84 years of age, was one of the oldest members of the local Methodist Church and for many years was superintendent of the junior department of that Sunday School. She is survived by one daughter, Miss Oilve Eldridge of this place, and by 13 grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
