LeRoy Eldridge, long time resident of this place, died early yesterday at Princeton Hospital, where he has been confined for several weeks with a serious ailment. The funeral services are to be conducted from his home on Grant Avenue here tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock, with the Rev. Walter Nickless, pastor of the Methodist Church, officiating. Interment will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery under direction of William S. Heyer. Mr. Eldridge, who was born in Hightstown, was 53 years of age and the son of Mrs. Emma Eldridge of Stockton Street and the late Ellwood Eldridge. Besides his mother, he is survived by his wife, Mrs. Mary Conway Eldridge and four sons. Harold, of Princeton; Robert, Stanley and Donald of Hightstown. A sister, Miss Olive Eldridge, of this place, also survives. Mr. Eldridge had been employed as a weaver at the Hightstown Rug Company here for many years. |
