  Angeline Packer, sworn-Live at 44 Broad street, second door from the soap house; have lived there 23 years; have experienced a very offensive smell from the soap house; we smell it all the time; during the warm weather it becomes worse; it has occasioned inconvenience so that we had to shut windows and doors; have done this since July last; have also noticed this in passing along the street--quite a way down the street; I am a daughter of Mrs. Holmes and live in the same house with her; we have talked together a good deal about this.

  The funeral will take place today at Hightstown, of Mrs. Angie Packer, wife of Joseph Y. Packer, and daughter of George and Mary A. Holmes. She was a sister of Mrs. Elwood Eldridge, of Hightstown, with whom she lived and the granddaughter of Mary Butcher, who died in 1891, at the age of 105. The deceased had suffered for the past two years with a wasting illness. Mrs. Packer formerly lived in this city. She died on the 4th inst.
