Mrs. Phillip Capper died Tuesday, at her home in Perry-tp from infirmities of age. After a short service in the home, services were held in the U. B. church, Lamartine, Thursday, conducted by Rev. Messrs. Longworth and Reese.
The maiden name of the deceased was Emily Crumrine, being the daughter of the late John and Margaret Crumrine. She was born in Perry-tp on June 30, 1849. She was married Sept. 30, 1866, to Phillip Capper, who died July 7, 1897 [sic]. To this union were born 12 children: Anna B. of Carrollton, Amanda B. died in 1919 at Willoughby, Margaret E. of Perry-tp, Mary of Canton, Phillip H. died in 1924 at Pittsburgh, Jessie K. of Carrollton, John H. of Dover, Albert E. of Perry-tp, Almira F. of Miami, Fla., Orville of Carrollton, Wm. A. of Columbus, and Perry A. of Uhrichsville. The brothers and sisters were: Jane, deceased; Frank C. of Akron; Spencer, deceased; Peter C. of Carrollton; John C. of Canton; Belle C. of New Hagerstown and Sara deceased.
