Ellen King was baptised on 22nd September 1867 at Chichester in Sussex, daughter of Mary Ann King, formerly Grant, and her husband Daniel King, a railway porter. Ellen appears with her parents and siblings in the 1871 census in Chichester. Ten years later the family was living in Brighton. She has yet to researched after 1881.
